Main Street Bridge Closures

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Main Street Bridge (SR 48 between Monument Avenue and Riverview Drive) will be closed June 7-10 and June 14-17. The official detour is: northbound - SR 48 to Monument Avenue to Great Miami Boulevard to SR 48, southbound - Great Miami Boulevard to Riverside Drive to Second Street to SR 48.

Downtown Roads to Be Closed for Weekend Events

Additionally, a few portions of downtown roads will be temporarily closed this weekend to accommodate the Passport to MetroParks event at RiverScape MetroPark (Friday), as well as the Dayton Jazz Festival at Levitt Pavilion (Sunday).

Following are the scheduled street closures, provided by Five Rivers MetroParks and the City of Dayton.

From 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Friday, June 7:

• Monument Avenue from Jefferson Street to Patterson Boulevard
• St. Clair Street from Monument Avenue to First Street
• Harries Street from Monument Avenue to the parking garage entrance

From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 9:

• Fourth Street between Main and Jefferson streets
• Jefferson Street between Fourth and Fifth streets
