The Ohio Older Adult Falls Prevention Coalition is hosting a FREE, one-day training collaborative on Community Paramedicine on March 12, 2020 from 9:30 to 3:30 pm. The event
will be held in Dublin, Ohio at the Ohio University Campus, 6805 Bobcat Way. Join us to learn about the different models and types of community paramedicine programs and discuss how these programs are making an impact, addressing barriers, and reaching vulnerable
older adults and others in their communities.
The training collaborative will feature speakers from four established, effective paramedicine programs being implemented across the state. Attendees will hear from the City of Akron Fire Department, City
of Monroe Fire Department, City of Upper Arlington Fire Division, and Colerain Township Department of Fire and EMS about their innovative programs. Small group sessions will help attendees discuss ways to build or enhance programs in their communities.
Please consider sharing this opportunity with the fire departments, EMS, public health, and other partners in your community. To register, please use the link below. Space will be limited so sign up today. Questions should be directed to Elizabeth Fries
at elizabeth.fries@uchd.net or 937-645-2031.
