Since GMVEMSC issued the optional monoclonal antibody (mAb) Just in Time Standing Order (JITSO), we’ve already had EMS agencies make use of it. In one case, EMS provided mAbs to over a dozen patients at an
outbreak in a facility. EMS efforts have been very successful; we’re updating the JITSO with lessons learned.
Right now, we are in the midst of still another surge. Agencies are asking if EMS can assist with providing mAbs. Multiple EMS used our survey to let us know of their willingness, but we have several counties
where no agencies have told us if they can assist with this important therapy.
Because of the high demands, we are asking that your agency consider joining the process. If you would
consider delivering mAbs, please fill out this very short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JCT3F6N.
Completion of the survey does not obligate your agency to ANYTHING.
By all means, discuss this with your medical director, who is likely well aware of the benefits, and the need.

management and other agencies and individuals throughout the region.
