You do not want to miss the 2022 Dayton MMRS/RMRS Steering Committee Meeting!  Share this email or the attached flyer with everyone!  We’ll be in-person on Tuesday, November 8^th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with free breakfast starting at 7:30 and free lunch, all at Premier Health Miami Valley Hospital’s Bieser Auditorium or via Zoom!  We have a terrific program lined up:

• Response to Mass Radiological Incidents
• DHS Intelligence Report
• FBI WMD Report
• Our Region’s Reports from MMRS/RMRS, Public Health, & Hospitals
• and MUCH MORE, including special appearances by John Curnutt, Assistant Director of ALERRT, and Dr. Heidi Abraham, Deputy Medical Director of the City of Austin, TX! They’ll cover Law Enforcement, Medical, and Emergency Management perspectives from the Uvalde, TX shooting.

This meeting is at the FOUO level. You must be registered in advance, vetted, and approved in order to attend.  Here’s how:

1. If you have to attend virtually (but you’ll miss the food!), make sure you register with the phone number or email you will use to join the meeting.
2. If you can, use an “official” email, meaning the email of your agency, hospital, or department. 
2. MMRS personnel will validate your registration. You will receive an email a few days before notifying you of your approval and, if you’re attending virtually, calendar invitation with the link to join the meeting.

We’ll have free EMS Continuing Education (usable by nurses) courtesy of Premier Health, EMS Center of Excellence, and law enforcement continuing education from Dayton MMRS.  And 7.5 hours of continuing education will be awarded to Public Health Registered Environmental Health Sanitarians and Environmental Health Specialists in Training by the Ohio Department of Health.  Attendance is limited; sign up NOW! 

If you’re going to be watching with a group (such as at a fire station), please have each individual register – that’s important so we can give them Con Ed certificates.  This is open to all personnel in:
