Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM-3:30PM, Dayton MMRS will hold a “Dawn of a New Day” Full-Scale MCI Exercise sponsored by GDAHA and Kettering Health.  The scenario is an active shooter and terrorist attack.  We need EMS and law enforcement agencies to participate!  EMS agencies, please share this with your law enforcement partners.

 

Our “incident site” will be the Clark State Building on Pentagon Blvd.  Law enforcement will respond, as well as Rescue Task Force.  A command structure will be established (IC; EMS; Triage, Treatment, Transport Officer, Communications Aide, etc.).  Personnel may be used in varying roles at the discretion of IC.  All “victims” from the “scene” will be transported to Soin Medical Center; other victims will be pre-staged at Greene Memorial Hospital.  EMS continuing education will be provided by Kettering Health, and law enforcement continuing education certificates will be provided by Dayton MMRS.  Exercise needs include:
