ANNOUNCEMENT

Ohio law authorizes state agencies to adopt, amend, or rescind rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code (RC).

Rules in OAC chapter 4765-3 (Regional Physician Advisory Boards) were filed for five-year review with the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) on April 27, 2023.  On the same date, three amended rules were filed with JCARR:

4765-3-02    Regional directors and regional physician advisory boards (Amended).

4765-3-05    Medical director requirements for each emergency medical services organization  (Rescind/New).

4765-1-03    Incorporated by reference (Amended).

A public hearing is scheduled for June 5 at 9 a.m. in room 1108, located at 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223.

Rule 4765-3-02 is amended to change “all geographic areas” to “the geographic diversity”.

Rule 4765-3-05 is rescinded and replaced with a new rule based on the fifty per cent guideline.  

Rule 4765-1-03 includes titles, dates of publication, and information to help readers access materials incorporated by reference in the emergency medical services (EMS) chapters of OAC 4765.
