Today GMVEMSC is "going live" with a new ListServ email blast solution that will allow for greater flexibility and some new features for both the council and members. If you are receiving this directly, you're on the new list and there is nothing required on your part. Since future council announcements will come from this email address, you may want to add "gmvemsc_general@gmvemsc.simplelists.com" to your "safe sender" or "whitelist" to avoid messages being flagged as spam.

This new solution allow users to subscribe to specific areas of interest in addition to the general council messages. By default, all users migrated from the old system were subscribed to each of the lists. If you do not wish to receive certain messages, just use the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the message. Here are the sub-lists and their respective email addresses:

Job Postings - gmvemsc_jobs@gmvemsc.simplelists.com

Protocol Announcements - gmvemsc_protocol@gmvemsc.simplelists.com

Social Announcements - gmvemsc_social@gmvemsc.simplelists.com

If you have an announcement or information you would like to disseminate via the ListServ, you can forward it to Mark Senseman, David Gerstner, Sandy Lehrter, or myself. If you have a need to send frequently I can work with you to set that up.
