LIFENET® System Update on November 9, 2017
Dear LIFENET System User:
Physio-Control will be providing an update to the LIFENET System between 04:00AM-08:00AM (EST) on Thursday, November 9, 2017. During this update, there
may be a service outage of up to 10 minutes and the outage will take place during our normal published maintenance windows. If transmissions are attempted or disrupted during the outage window, LIFEPAK® device users will be notified by an error message
and may need to manually restart the transmission.
New Features & Functionality with this Release:
Home Page Quick Links – Quick Links have been added for the most common tasks within your LIFENET Account. Upon login, these buttons will be prominently displayed on the main screen
for easier access.
Downloads on One Page – Now there is a single page with all LIFENET software downloads available to you. In addition, there is also a new
Home Page Quick link for Downloads in the main menu for easy access.
Password Policy Changes (length and complexity) – Your security is important to us and based on customer feedback, we have increased the default password requirements in the LIFENET
System. Password length will be a minimum of 8 characters long and will require a minimum of 3 layers of complexity from the following four categories: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters.
OnePush Protocol Improvements – A new version of the LIFENET Alert Client contains changes to the OnePush protocol. The OnePush wizard now contains a screen which displays all the tasks
that need to be executed in the protocol prior to selection of the execute button. If you want to take advantage of these improvements, after the release date, you can download
the LIFENET Alert Client version 6.2 from the LIFENET website to upgrade your client.
Include all 12-leads reports in a Notification – Users
subscribed to the 12-lead Notification will see all 12-lead reports included in the transmission.
This LIFENET System update will not directly impact your existing customer environment. Users are not required to download any new components or make any configuration changes. Following the update, you can continue using the LIFENET System as you are now.
If you have questions about these updates, please contact Physio-Control Data Solutions Technical Support at 1-800-732-3081.
