How would you like to play the role of a “victim” with simulated injuries to help hospitals and emergency personnel prepare for an active shooter event?
We have the opportunity for you to volunteer in two exercises taking place at six hospitals in the region, just like these people did.
These exercises train police, fire, EMS, and hospital personnel to respond to mass casualty incidents. The events are in coordination with the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association (GDAHA), Dayton MMRS,
Premier Health, and Mercy Health.
Premier Health (Miami Valley Hospital) will be hosting an exercise on the afternoon of September 27th (hours are roughly noon to 5 PM) and Mercy Health (Springfield Regional Medical Center) will be hosting
their exercise on October 4th (from approximately 8 AM to 1 PM).
WE NEED YOU
to help us be as prepared as possible for any type of disaster.
