FULL-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

THE POSITION:
Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, is seeking a motivated and dynamic professional for an administrative specialist position with the Township’s Fire Department. The Washington Township Fire Department is a professional, internationally

with the fire department administration and provide support to the entire department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license and remain insurable, without penalty or surcharge, under the Township's vehicle insurance plan.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both visitors and employees.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Possess a warm and welcoming communication style.
Must be a team player.
Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience which includes answering telephones and using professional office skills, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
other office software packages and the ability to operate copy, fax and other office machines.
(Fire Chief may waive certain requirements to ensure an adequate candidate pool.)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary range is $39,228 up to $51,604, and is a non-exempt, non-union position. Entry rate is contingent upon candidate’s experience, qualifications and related skills, knowledge and ability. Excellent benefits.

background investigation, physical and drug test.
