Attached is the Moderna EUA Fact Sheet for Recipients.  Most EMS personnel being vaccinated in our region over the next few weeks will receive the Moderna Vaccine.  Although not essential, it will help you move through the process quickly if you read the Fact Sheet before you arrive to be vaccinated. 

As the process moves on, EMS may get either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine depending on where you are vaccinated.  Make sure you read the correct Fact Sheet.  More importantly, remember that your second shot must be the same “brand” as the first.

And if you are a paramedic or Advanced EMT who is assisting with vaccinations, remember that this is the short fact sheet.  Read the JITSO if you’re vaccinating!
