Amended rules
4765-9-01, 4765-9-02, and 4765-22-01 were final filed with the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) on July 7, 2021 and will become effective on August 1, 2021.

Professional standards of conduct for firefighter, fire safety inspector, or hazard recognition officer certificate holders.
The rules are amended to set professional standards of conduct and disciplinary measures that are similar for both EMS and fire certificants.
In addition, rules in OAC Chapter 4765-2 (Public Notices and Meetings) and Chapter 4765-21 (Fire Instructor Training Programs) have been final filed with amendments that delete words defined
as “existing regulatory restrictions” as set forth in
division (F) of section 121.95 of the RC. The rules will become effective on August 1, 2021 and can be viewed using the search field on the
