Good Morning.

Five (5) states: Mississippi, Louisiana, Idaho, Oregon and Arkansas Departments of Health, have sent Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) requests to the Ohio Emergency Management Agency (Ohio EMA) for medical staffing in support of hospitals for periods ranging from 14 days to 46 day. (physicians, pharmacists, pharmacy techs, laboratory support technicians, registered nurses (various qualifications), advanced practice providers, paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), environmental services, supply chain support and respiratory technicians).  See specific details in attached files (2156-rr EMAC Resource Requests).  

We respectfully ask that you consider querying your organizations’ personnel pool to see if any assistance to fulfill these Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) requests may be feasible at this time.

  • Deployment Duty Length: 14 days to 46 days state request dependent.
  • Living Conditions:  Normal - all amenities available
